Bialetti coffee maker
Its origins date back to the last century, in the 1930s, a time when espresso machines were already being perfected for professional use.
However, what was missing was a device to prepare the best coffee at home and which would allow the family to enjoy freshly brewed coffee.
Taking this need into account, in 1933 the engineer Alfonso Bialetti designed and patented his revolutionary coffee maker. It was called Moka Express, an aluminum coffee maker.
The original Bialetti and its descendants are aluminum coffee makers, which conduct heat very well, both with handles and Bakelite handles, a resistant plastic that prevents burns.
