4) Close the coffee maker

In this step you must close the coffee maker very carefully, avoiding burns, we will mount the upper carafe on the funnel, turning well but without exaggerating with force. To do this, we grab the body and twist well we have already explained.

5) Let’s heat the coffee maker with the lid open

You can heat the coffee maker with the base on the stove, over medium-low heat and with the lid open. There are 2 reasons to make coffee with the lid open:

The first reason is to be able to see directly when the infusion comes out and therefore be able to verify that it does so at a stable speed. It should not explode suddenly but not too slowly either, which would allow us to correct the power.
The second reason has to do with the temperature because the coffee does not need to be heated as much and in fact it will be much more balanced, fresh and sweet. We therefore recommend that you do not heat the coffee maker to too high a temperature, but rather to a moderate to low temperature.
6) Close the lid and remove from the heat

Once the coffee has reached the right temperature, close the lid and turn off the heat. We remove the car when everything is out, so that it doesn’t overheat. When you hear the typical coffee sound, such as a gurgling sound, it will indicate that the coffee is ready.

7) Serve immediately

Coffee should be drunk fresh and never, ever reheated. It can be done, but we will taste a mediocre and probably very bitter and burnt drink, without the delicate aromatic qualities of the original beans.
