Black Velvet Cake


Instructions:

Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and flour a 9-inch round cake pan.
In a large bowl, sift together the flour, sugar, cocoa powder, baking soda, and salt.
In another bowl, whisk together the buttermilk, oil, eggs, vanilla, vinegar, and black food coloring.
Gradually mix the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients until just combined. Stir in the coffee.
Pour the batter into the prepared cake pan. Bake for 30-35 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
Allow the cake to cool in the pan for 10 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely.
